Babymetal Release Sorta-New Song and Video, “BxMxC”

Unless you picked up a Japanese import copy of Babymetal’s 2019 Metal Galaxy or have spent hours trawling the depths of YouTube and frequently Babymetal message boards, then you likely haven’t heard “BxMxC,” a bonus track on that release.

That song has now been given an official release along with a high-production video that features Su-Metal and Moametal in a Street Fighter-like video game environment cut in with their patented dance routines. The song itself comes across almost like a rap, but with breakdowns and some ’80s-inspired electronic effects.

Babymetal are now a duo after Yuimetal quit to launch her solo career in 2018 after she hadn’t appeared with the band for nearly a year, citing health concerns.
